Yarmouth's big-and-best sound beach
Yarmouth's largest and most popular beach. Soft, white sand stretching along Nantucket Sound with panoramic views. Snack bar, lifeguards, and full facilities. A favorite with teens and families alike.
Seagull is the biggest, busiest, most amenity-loaded beach in Yarmouth — the kind of place where teenagers spend the entire day with friends and parents bring the works. The lot is enormous, the bathhouse is properly outfitted, the snack bar is one of the better on the Cape (lobster rolls, fried clams, ice cream), and the lifeguard staff is large enough to cover the long swim area. The sand itself is soft and unusually white, the water sound-warm by August, and the beach stretches over half a mile with plenty of space even on packed July weekends. There's an accessible Mobi-mat to the swim area and a half-dozen accessible parking spots. Both sticker and daily-fee parking are sold. Pair with mini-golf at Bayberry Hills a few miles inland or dinner at Yarmouth House for the family-favorite full-day. The complete south-shore Cape experience.
